Apparently they weren’t going to bother with a wedding video….until they met me! Now they are extremely delighted that they bothered!
Great day, 10th June 2017, lovely couple, beautiful wedding at St. Michael & All Angels Church, Alphington and The Exeter Golf & Country Club afterwards.
For all those unsure whether to have a film of their wedding, take a look at this, it may help you decide!
This is what they said on Facebook:
“We had Alan film our wedding day on the 10th June this year & what a lovely man he is & very professional. When we first met alan he talked through what he would do and the run of day & What myself and Nick would like on our day. before meeting Alan we very nearly didn’t have a recording of our day as it was so expensive everywhere else but Alan was very reasonable with his price list. We received our video yesterday and we are so over whelmed by it, Alan captured our day beautifully and we hardly felt like he was there he wasnt intrusive and captured our day naturally. If anyone is contemplating on having their special day videod I would definitely recommend Alan he did an amazing job!! Thank you so much Alan we will definitely be recommending you ” Jodie Frankum

This is a quick clip showing a few extracts from our latest epic! The film has taken several months to create but judging by the reaction at the launch night inside St. Andrews Church the audience loved it. My main satisfaction was creating the sound effects to all the old silent movie and for the very first time being able to accurately place the footage within the City Centre, plus lining up all the then and now shots which was very satisfying. Well done to my colleague Chris for his extensive knowledge which makes these films what they are. This is our 13th film on Plymouth that we’ve made together over 20 years and many are saying that this one is our best yet. I just hope that people appreciate what goes into making these productions and stands as a lasting record of Plymouth’s illustrious history for all to enjoy as the years continue to role on. And will a historian in the future look back at this film and say “wasn’t it quaint back then!”
