Fabulous wedding that I filmed and photographed at Gloucester Cathedral. Covering both aspects was always going to be a challenge but I think I pulled it off! Despite the weather the wedding went extremely well. Chris being a fireman provided a dramatic twist to the proceedings with the bride and bridesmaids arriving in a vintage fire engine, all looking fantastic, there was also a special guard of honour with axes raised. Fantastic location at the cathedral giving a beautiful backdrop, where the cloisters were actually featured in some of the Harry Potter movies. The bride’s father conducted the service which made it very personal. The reception was held at Over Barn, Gloucester, which provided a very relaxed atmosphere. It was so much fun including a bouncy assault course and finished off with one of the most dramatic first dances I had witnessed!
This is what the happy couple thought of my work:
‘Alan was an incredible wedding photographer/videographer. He made us feel comfortable and at ease on the day with friends and family and managed to capture moments that were so special and we will treasure forever! Upon receiving our photos and videos back we cannot thank him enough for providing us with these life long memories which have been edited in the most beautiful way. We appreciate all your hard work, thank you Alan.’
