The film portrays the story of the Exeter Blitz, specifically the major bombing which took place on May 4th 1942. It includes a glimpse of pre-war Exeter, showing the wealth of impressive buildings that were to be lost, hor the city prepared itself for war, dramatic images of the blitz, the devastation afterwards & the heroic clean-up operation. This production is placked full of archive film & photographs which will amaze, educate & surprise many. We hope it will stand as a fitting tribute to those who were injured, lost their lives or fought valiantly to save their City, in what was the most momentous occaasion of Exeter’s ilustrious history, the Bombing of Exeter.
